Big Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Joshua Toney who was reported missing.
Toney was last seen at 10 a.m. Feb. 1 leaving his parents’ Kailua-Kona residence on a mo-ped after telling his parents that he was going to hike in Pololu Valley in North Kohala, according to the Hawaii Police Department. On Feb. 2, Toney’s parents found his mo-ped parked unattended within the parking area of Pololu lookout.
Toney is described as being Caucasian, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with long curly brownish blonde hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a denim jacket, no T-shirt, and black shorts. He has a tattoo on his forearm with the saying, “not all those who wander are lost” with a compass and an anchor.
